The DMTF recently published the latest release of the Common Information Model (CIM) Schema, version 2.51. The fifty-first update to the Common Information Model (CIM) since the launch of 2.0, this widely used standard provides a common definition of management information for systems, networks, applications and services. 

DMTF continues to regularly update the CIM schema, helping ensure the standard remains up-to-date to address the latest industry needs. CIM 2.51 adds support for current technologies, including persistent memory, as well as the latest networking interfaces, processors and more.
