In the two latest installments of DMTF’s popular “Redfish® School” YouTube series, learn more about using Events in Redfish. In this two-part mini-tutorial, Part One provides an overview of Redfish Eventing, while Part Two details how Events and Messages were updated in Redfish 2018.2.

Part One’s Redfish Events overview includes a review of the Eventing Model Map, as well as information on how to form a client message. In addition, Part One features a detailed look at examples, including Event service, how to subscribe, what events look like, and the message registry.

Part Two provides in-depth explanations of the latest improvements in Redfish Messaging and Events that were released as part of Version 2018.2. This video also includes a review of Clearing Logic, one of the updates in Redfish 2018.2.
