DMTF’s Redfish Forum to Host Live Webinar on the Redfish 2024.4 Release

DMTF’s Redfish Forum would like to invite anyone interested in learning about the Redfish 2024.4 release to join a live webinar, hosted on Zoom, on Thursday, February 6th, at 9:00 a.m. PT.

The Forum chairs will present the contents of the release. A Round Table discussion will be held immediately following the webinar.

Redfish Release 2024.4 Now Available

DMTF’s Redfish®, Release 2024.4 is now available for public download. Designed to deliver simple and secure management for hybrid IT and the Software Defined Data Center (SDDC), the latest release of the Redfish standard includes the addition of the StorageMetrics schema, Coolant Distribution Unit (CDU) Controls, and 20 schema updates.

It’s Not Too Early to Think About DMTF Membership!

As DMTF’s new fiscal year approaches, our membership renewal period is right around the corner - please take steps today to ensure your organization is prepared to renew! Your company’s billing contact will receive the invoice in early January so be sure to give them the heads up! The upcoming membership year runs April 1 to March 31.

DMTF’s Redfish Forum to Participate in the Open Standards Pavilion at SC24

Continuing its commitment to industry outreach and education, DMTF’s Redfish Forum will participate in SC24, November 17-22, 2024, at the Georgia World Conference Center in Atlanta, Georgia. SC24 is an international conference for high performance computing, networking, storage, and analysis.

DMTF Presentations from the OCP Global Summit Now Available

DMTF recently participated in the Open Compute Project (OCP) Global Summit, October 15-17, which hosted more than 7,000 attendees interested in learning about open IT Ecosystem development. DMTF experts met developers and executives at our booth, all interested in learning more about Redfish® and DMTF’s other standards.

SPDM announces the release of libspdm 3.5

The Security Protocols and Data Models (SPDM) Code Task Force announces its latest open source release of libspdm, version 3.5. It is conformant with DSP0274 1.0, 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3. It is now available for download. In addition, there are three notable changes:

DMTF Releases Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) Format and Access Proposal - Seeks Industry Feedback

DMTF’s Platform Management Communications Infrastructure (PMCI) Working Group recently published a presentation, which shares its goals and approach to a common and extensible format for the Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) Data Model Specification. The presentation, now available for download, is a proposal for a minimum common FRU format and access.
