DMTF and the Ultra Accelerator Link™ Consortium, Inc. (UALink™) have agreed to a work register for technical collaboration between the two organizations as part of DMTF’s Alliance Partner program.
UALink is an industry standards organization that delivers interconnect technical specifications to facilitate direct load, store, and atomic operations between accelerators to address AI workloads. UALink specifically focuses on enabling low-latency, high-bandwidth fabric, supporting hundreds of accelerators in a pod, and facilitating simple load and store semantics with software coherency.
The goals of the alliance are to enable a holistic management experience, promote UALink and DMTF standards to member companies, and foster UALink participation in DMTF’s Alliance Partner program and working groups. The alliance will also introduce new Redfish modeling requirements for UALink devices and fabrics.
The work register detailing the alliance partnership is available here.
